Sayu Life (Riad Lola Sayulita)

I’m giving it 5 stars on everything because it’s a GREAT deal! It’s not a Hilton, it’s a hostel. My wife & I were there last week and enjoyed it. We are in our 60s and first time for me in a hostel but it was fun. Got to meet new people, you can cook your own food in the lobby/kitchen so always yummy smells and a huge refrigerator/freezer to back up the small one in your room. And so close to town & the beach. And lastly, the staff are terrific!

A good place to stay, pretty economic and close to the main places of Sayulita, almost everything is within 10-15minutes of walking distance, the staff is friendly, we were able to refill our water bottles and freeze them in the shared fridge so we can use them at the beach. There is also a small waterpool and a waterpipe which was useful for refreshing ourselves and washing most of the sand before accessing the rooms. The only downside is that there is no AC but if you are used to the heat, the electric fans might be enough.

Awesome hostal off the beaten path and far away from down town to block out the midnight music. Staff were awesome and the rooms were clean and private with private bathrooms. They also have a nice little pool, great for cooling off midday. They do allow animals which was a bother when a neighbor had a puppy that wimpered all night. However that's not the hostels fault. I will definitely return when I go back to Sayulita!

Loved this colorful charming hotel. First room they showed us was kind of cave like. But the room we stayed in was spacious and clean. It even had a frig and sink and dishes. Also able to cook in communal kitchen. Room overlooked patio and small pool. Room was cleaned daily. Only stayed 3 nights - would have stayed longer but all rooms were booked.

Great price, clean basic Hotel, perfect location. Would stay again! :)

Really cool hostel close to the beach and center of town . The staff was incredible. One of the people I was traveling with got sick and the staff did everything in their power to make him feel better. They even came to his room with a cup of tea. This isn't a luxurious place but the hospitality certainly makes up for it .5 stars easy , would return.

Close to the beach (2 minute walk, for the quieter part of the beach, 5-10 min walk to the main beach area). They have a kitchen you can use. Stayed 2 nights w/ our 3yo, he enjoyed it too.

A lovely and fairly cheap hostel in Sayulita. It's a five minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to anywhere else in town. The propietario was very kind and accommodating and the hostel was very colorful and well-decorated. We didn't have A/C in our room (although I believe it's in other rooms) but we did have a fan. We had WiFi as well. Would recommend.
